1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JumpSeat ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use JumpSeat. These terms apply to all users of the platform including cabin crew members and business partners.
2. Eligibility
JumpSeat is a platform exclusively for cabin crew and flight attendants. To create an account you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be an active or former cabin crew member or flight attendant.
- Have a valid airline email address for verification purposes.
- Agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to verify your crew status and to suspend or remove accounts that do not meet these criteria.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.
- Keep your account information up to date.
- Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
- Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post on JumpSeat. By posting content, you grant JumpSeat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content that:
- Is false, misleading or defamatory.
- Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
- Contains personal information of others without their consent.
- Is hateful, discriminatory, abusive or harassing.
- Promotes illegal activity.
- Contains spam, advertising or promotional material not permitted by JumpSeat.
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice.
5. Direct Messages
JumpSeat provides private one-to-one messaging between verified members. You are responsible for the content of messages you send. Abusive or unlawful messages violate these Terms and may result in account suspension. Use the in-app report and block tools to manage unwanted contact.
6. Crew Deals & Partner Offers
Deals listed on JumpSeat are provided by third-party businesses. JumpSeat does not guarantee the accuracy, availability or quality of any deal. Disputes regarding deals must be resolved directly with the partner business. JumpSeat accepts no liability for any loss arising from the use of crew deals.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use JumpSeat for any unlawful purpose.
- Harass, threaten or abuse other users.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or another user's account.
- Scrape, crawl or collect data from JumpSeat without written permission.
- Post content that reveals confidential airline information or breaches your employment contract.
- Use JumpSeat to solicit money or promote pyramid schemes.
8. Intellectual Property
All JumpSeat branding, design, code and original content is owned by JumpSeat and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from JumpSeat's intellectual property without written permission.
9. Disclaimers
JumpSeat is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the accuracy of content posted by users.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JumpSeat and its founders, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue or personal injury.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or if we discontinue the platform. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of JumpSeat after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
